Health advocacy has always been one of my passions. I wanted to join a movement that strives to improve the health and well-being of marginalized youth populations in Toronto. I was confident that IYHD could provide me with opportunities to contribute my skills and experiences in increasing youth understanding of research as an accessible tool and the civic engagement of vulnerable youth populations. Finally, the values of IYHD such as leadership, empowerment, and equity closely aligned with my personal values and focus. 

I'm also very passionate about medicine, translational research, and basketball.

Fun Fact: I'm an adrenaline junkie. I went for my first bungee jumping when I was 12. Skydiving is next on my list.
