Kezia is a communications specialist who is passionate about diversity, inclusion, and all things youth-related. She has worked with numerous youth-related non-profit organizations that support the health, well-being and advancement of young people, both nationally and internationally. Some of these organizations include Childhood Cancer Canada, Parks and Recreation Ontario, and Nkosi’s Haven, a holistic home for mothers and children living with HIV in Johannesburg, South Africa.  As a result, Kezia brings a unique, international perspective with a strong drive to make a difference.

As a first generation immigrant, newcomer experiences among youth resonate with Kezia. This motivated her to get involved with the Institute for Youth Health and Development (IYHD) as the Director of Events and Community Outreach. Kezia hopes to help bridge the gap in communication between health care providers and vulnerable youth, while upholding IYHD's values of empowerment, community and equity for all.

Kezia holds a BA in Communications and a Professional Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from York University. She currently works for the provincial government of Ontario in Communications.
