I joined IYHD because I believe that no one understands the needs of our community's youth better than the youths themselves, and any initiative that puts power and voice in the hands of our future is a cause I would support with my entire self.

I find my purpose and passion in seeing those around em flourish. My favourite moment of any endeavour is being able to sit back and watch all the hard work of the team and the community come to fruition. If even one person feels like my work has made even a minute difference in their life or offered them a new perspective, I am happy.

Fun fact: I don't know how fun this fact is for myself, but I know that people find it amusing to know that, although I grew up on an island for 10 years, I still haven't gotten around to learning how to swim! I'll get there, I promise!
