I decided to join IYHD as an opportunity to be among youth to hear their stories and experiences. As a social worker in the children's mental health field, I find it important to hear the first-hand telling of youths' experiences with the health care system, barriers to involvement with the health care system and/or what their understanding is of the health care system. Their experiences are the key to understanding how the system can evolve to better support all populations. The Incubator program seems like a wonderful endeavour to empower youth to advocate for themselves and their communities, and I am privileged to be a part of it. 

My biggest passion is to be surrounded by my loved ones, and, to see them happy!
